Stories That Inspire: Patient Advocate Panel

We are excited to announce our inspiring patient advocate panel featuring Kristin Coppens, Kirsetn Schultz, and Marinette Laureano. Get excited to hear stories from these three motivational women on how they found their new normals living with chronic conditions. Each coming from a different background; all three women have a unique perspective on patient advocacy and self-care. Coming from a background in health media and digital communication, Kristin is an active ePatient who fights and blogs about many chronic conditions. Experiencing symptoms of Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis since kindergarten, Kirsten found her passion for patient advocacy through writing about self-love with a chronic illness. Last but not least, Marinette was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer in 2013, and believes that facing a serious illness gives you an opportunity to reassess what is important to you. These three women will shed light on what inspires them as patients, and how they use each day to practice self-love and celebrate the daily little accomplishments.
