Introducing: Filomena Servidio-Italiano

Hailing from a strong background in patient advocacy, Filomena is dedicated to equal and timely access to effective therapies to improve outcomes of colorectal cancer patients. As the Director of Education & Clinical Information for the Colorectal Cancer Association of Canada (CCAC), she oversees the national patient and caregiver support groups, and all educational initiatives and management of clinical information. Filomena’s journey as a caregiver to her father who had metastatic cancer gives her more than just professional experience, but a personal stake in understanding the importance of successful patient and caregiver information and support programs.
