Research Opportunity: The Acromegaly Patient Story
Are you interested to share your experience about what it is like to live with acromegaly in a confidential and paid research study?
Self Care Catalysts, a health research company based in Toronto, is recruiting individuals diagnosed with acromegaly for a study to better understand the story of what it is like to live with this rare disorder.
This study involves the use of a mobile app to journal about your experience, and a 60-minute confidential phone interview, scheduled at a time of your convenience. You will be compensated a total of $200 for your participation.
This important study may help researchers develop better support solutions and services for the acromegaly community.
You may be eligible if you:
- Have been diagnosed with acromegaly
- Are aged 18 and above
- Reside in Canada
- Have received treatment for acromegaly with medication(s), including injectables
